this movie is so bad that I recommend that you watch anything other than this movie, but it did have one benefit - I went to sleep very quickly and I was able to use this movie five times to go to sleep.
The 1960s big hair was funny and so were the "cavemen and women's" hairdos and clean-shaven looks. The clubs some of the cavemen used were so stupid that I can't believe the directors thought they would have an impact other than provoking laughter.
On the other hand this movie would be great at a party where everybody was stoned and not really keeping keeping track of the "plot" - there is no plot in this movie.

More fun that it appears at first
I first thought this movie was going to be boring after the first monster sequence, but it turned out to be a fun, goofy ride. Carlo Rambaldi, the visual effects guy on this, ended up winning Oscars for Best Visual Effects for "Alien" and "E.T. The Extra Terrestrial."

Not meant to be funny
flash format kept me from a higher rating plus I'm not a fan of Pan and Scan. Thanks to the uploader, I hope you have more.

Mostly boring
All the elements that make the Sons of Hercules flicks fun are here - an absurd plot, non-acting cast members, non-dancing dancing girls and of course the whacky English dubbing - but in this case they never seem to come together to produce the unintended laughs found in earlier editions. (One brief exception is when the hero teaches the good tribe how to make fire.) The N.Y. Times mini-review alluded to by the pervious reviewer notwithstanding, this one is a dud. The image quality is fair. The audio is good.
